The Adelaide members of Z-Club Australia organised a car cruise that started from Tea Tree Plaza, up the Adelaide Hills, down to the Victor Harbor coast, and coming back along the great coastal drive of Main South Road.

Matt’s 350Z

This is Matt’s sleek looking Nissan 350Z. Matt acquired the car late last year and has invested a lot of time and money to get the car where it is at the moment. This car has turned out to be one of the cleanest and well-styled 350Z in town.

Double Christening Celebration

A client of mine was offering my service as a gift to her friends and family’s baby christening celebration. It was held at a local church with an after-party at home. I’ve never covered such event before, so it was truly a new experience to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ric & Polly’s Wedding

Posted on by edgarchieng in Events, People, Photography, Videography | Leave a comment

Congratulations to Ric and Polly on their wedding. The lovely couple have been friends to my wife for years and we were invited to their wedding in Brisbane to attend their wedding. I arrived without any intention to shoot any video, I just brought with me my DSLR and a couple of lenses (and a tripod) as I normally would when I travel, but I decided to shoot some videos of the wedding event as it was such a beautiful day. I did it with what I have, it wasn’t ideal but at least I got some thing out of it.

Victor Harbour is a city located on the coast of Fleurieu Peninsula, about 80km south of Adelaide, South Australia. The city is the largest population centre on the peninsula, with an economy based upon agriculture, fisheries and various industries. It is also a highly popular tourist destination, with the city’s population greatly expanded during the summer holidays.

Gazzanats 2010

Posted on by edgarchieng in Events, Photography, Videography | Leave a comment

This was my first experience with Gazzanats and I pay my respect for the sponsors and organisers who kept this trully well and alive. This kind of event is becoming smaller and lesser around the world due to lack of sponsorships and the level of interest, but what Sprint Auto and Gary Meyers have done is to keep them rolling.

Lakes Entrance, Victoria

Posted on by edgarchieng in Photography, Places, Videography | Leave a comment

Lakes Entrance is a tourist resort and fishing port in eastern Victoria, Australia. It is situated approximately 320km east of Melbourne near a managed, man-made channel connecting the Gippsland Lakes to the Bass Strait. The township was originally named Cunninghame but was renamed Lakes Entrance on 1 January 1915.
I was there for a fishing and camping trip with the family and relatives from Melbourne. Most of my time was actually spent catching up and also doing some fishing along the rivers and crabbing by the jetty, so I didn’t quite get much time at all behind the camera. I took a few photos of the beach and sunset photos from the hill over-looking the entrance of the lakes.

This is the Show N’ Shine of the Skyline Nationals 2010 event. There are plenty of GT-Rs around from R31 to R35. Also appearing in the show were some classic Nissan Skyline and the legendary Winfield Nissan Skyline R31 GT-R of the Group A racing.

Autosalon 2010

Posted on by edgarchieng in Events, Photography, Videography | Leave a comment

Autosalon car show has slowed down dramatically over the years. This is partly due to the fact that the car modifying scenes have slowed as costs for labour and parts are on the increase. Many young people now are buying brand new cars instead of imports due to the more affordable pricing as well as being more fuel efficient.

However, the show is not quite dead yet, but what I did notice though, especially in this show is that these imports are wearing some pretty fancy branded accessories. Gone are the bling bling locally made wheels, and in come the Japanese imported brands like Volks, Works, and many more. These cars also have a much “cleaner” look with no ugly airbrush paint jobs and over killing bodykits.

Crowd numbers have also shrunk but I was there for a good 6 hours to take photos and video and they are now available here.
