Largs Bay is located on the north-west of Adelaide and about 25 minutes drive by car. The Largs Bay was an international landing point during the sail times and the beautiful Largs Pier Hotel was used as a historical landmark.
In the 1970s to the 1980s, the Largs Pier Hotel was a very popular pub-rock venue, and many prominent Australian rock banks used to play gigs there including AC/DC. Though those days are now gone, the Largs Pier still holds many fond memories in the heart of the locals.
It was another great day in Adelaide, being in the middle of July means it is also in the middle of winter! I didn’t wear any gloves, didn’t think I would need one, until the temperature starts to drop as the sun starts to set. My fingers were numb and stiff due to the coldness and I could hardly make any adjustments on the camera. I also had to wrap the legs of my tripod with the plastic food wrapper to prevent the sand from jamming the shaft.
